3:51 泯忆丹 Minyindan literally means obliterating memory pill, so it is a memory destroying pill used to forget memories, NOT odour eliminating pill *shake my head*
WHY IN ALL THINGS GOOD WOULD SOMEONE TAKE AN ANTI DEODORANT PILL DO THEY HAVE BODY ODOUR???? DO THEY HAVE BAD BREATH
Even if you use google translate I will not be able to come up with odour eliminating pill for those three characters

Anyway, for those that are confused as to why Subing is looking forward to to becoming an elder within the Immortal Hall Pill Branch/Division it is because Huangfu Saint Sect (the sect they belong to) is split into different Gates/Door/Sect, for simplicity I will refer them as sects, so there is the Outer Sect, Inner Sect, Immortal Sect (the donghua translator used the word Fairy) and the Sacred Sect (the translator sometimes uses Holy sect)

Sacred Sect holds more power than the Immortal Sect then the Inner, which in turn holds more power than the Outer sect. (or was it Immortal holds more power than Sacred, cant remember, it is either one lol been a while since I read the novel)

About Subing's father, he was the best alchemist the sect has ever seen, but he was framed by someone and had his arms cut off and expelled by the current sect master Little does Subing know, the sect master did not want do expel or punished her father, but he had no choice, the sect master has been looking for Subing and her sister for over 30 years in order to make up for punishing her father, dont worry Tan Yun kills everyone who hurts Subing :P

Or not: "Scientists from the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS) are ending 2021 with an announcement worth celebrating: the 2021 Antarctic ozone hole has finally closed."

Dase • 2 years ago

Taken out of context, this is the real report from them:

The 2021 Antarctic ozone hole closed towards the end of December last year, ending another one of the longest lasting Antarctic ozone hole seasons on record. The formation and evolution of the ozone hole each year is caused by complex chemical and meteorological processes and, throughout the year, scientists from the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service* (CAMS) track the development and recovery of the hole to provide quality-assured information about the state of the ozone layer.

Note for one of the longest season and from the BBC -

Today, the ozone hole still exists, forming every year over Antarctica in the spring. It closes up again over the summer as stratospheric air from lower latitudes is mixed in, patching it up until the following spring when the cycle begins again. But there’s evidence it’s starting to disappear – and recover more or less as expected, says Solomon. Based on scientific assessments, the ozone layer is expected to return to pre-1980 levels around the middle of the century. Healing is slow because of the long lifespan of ozone-depleting molecules. Some persist in the atmosphere for 50 to 150 years before decaying.

So expect 2050 for it to be truly closed, but you are right, it is healing, slowly

in all honesty I would say take anything you hear/read from the BBC with a pinch of salt and double check through other sources as I wouldnt rely on them personally.

Dase • 2 years ago

What? BBC isnt to be trusted? Is it owned by Rupert Murdoch?

vio • 2 years ago

it says its a statutory corporation and the chairman is Sir David Clementi. I think its better to have more than one source when confirming details like that and in all honesty it wouldnt surprise me if the government doesnt have some pull on what is said on that channel even though its supposed to be independent of the government.

Dase • 2 years ago

Bleh... I still believe there is a big ozone layer hole where I live lol, otherwise we wouldnt be getting high levels or UV rating every day even in winter

vio • 2 years ago

Considering the heat is going to pick up, I foresee a lot of aerosol deodorants being used to curb that sweat and odour for hunting season (coughs).

Dase • 2 years ago

(Ͼ˳Ͽ)..!!!

Just dont wear clingy clothes so the sweat wont stick to you and cause bacteria to breed :P Or use the alternate hand sanitizer which will kill the germs and bacteria making you smell like hand sanitizers (^▽^)

lol not me, I mean in general from a lot of people. Also that first face you made didnt look good on disqus with the white background. lol
The cat face was ok though. :)

Dase • 2 years ago

Oh? Hmm didnt know that lol, I usually use light mode, people gives me a big talking about the benefits of dark mode, but I told them, I dont want to see a dark screen, then alt tab to a light screen and then my eyes see line shadows, and in a sense I am half blinded (kind of like looking at the sun for a sec) Which is why I just disqus to read notifications and the gogoanime pages to read other people's posts lol

vio • 2 years ago

lol if you are half blinded from switching from dark screens to light that's the time you should head to bed and rest your eyes.

Dase • 2 years ago

lol I should listen to my mom and have my lights turned on, but during summer I dont like having it turned on, since it makes the room feel hotter

vio • 2 years ago

If you get a lot of bugs during summer that light is like a beacon for them if you have a open window. It's not fun having one trying to dive bomb you or doing a fly by just to buzz in your ear when your just sitting there minding your own business. lol

Dase • 2 years ago

We have fly screens, it is pretty much standard in Australia, with the weather slowly cooling down, there will even less flies although.... mosquitoes is another matter, but we have solar mozzie zappers with lights around the house lol
Only annoying insect we get are the crickets by my brother has been catching them so he can feed the chickens
And I havent seen a single spider for over 5 years, no matter what people say about Australia being the land of tarantulas or redback spiders not even daddylong legs lol

Aerlis Ambrosius • 2 years ago

Yep. And you also covered the key bit which is this: "Today, the ozone hole still exists, forming every year over Antarctica in the spring. It closes up again over the summer..." Its a naturally recurring atmospheric phenomenon...or what we used to call "weather" back in the day. Nothing to be unduly alarmed over.

If someone came close to me to read my memories i wouldn't want to have any odour either :P
